TravelTool launch

Claim compensation for a delayed or cancelled flight

Use an AI assistant (or a compensation checker inside it) to see if you're owed money and draft the claim.

What happened

AirHelp launched a flight-compensation checker that works inside ChatGPT and Claude: you describe the disrupted trip and get an eligibility assessment. Separately, a Canadian tribunal held Air Canada to a refund policy its own website chatbot invented, a reminder to verify what any bot tells you.

Our verdict

Good first step. The rules depend on the route and the cause of the delay, so check eligibility before you write.

Prompt to copy

My flight [airline, flight number, date, route] was [delayed X hours / cancelled] because of [reason given]. Tell me which passenger-rights rules may apply (for example EU 261 or US DOT refund rules), what I may be owed, and what evidence I need. Then draft a claim to the airline, and list the regulator I can escalate to if they refuse.
Before you try it: Compensation rules differ by country and cause. Keep your booking reference and receipts, and file through the airline's official claim channel.
