Let a personal agent watch for suspicious charges

A personal AI agent with read access to your accounts can flag small test charges before they become big ones.

What happened

In his public video of September 27, 2026, macro strategist Jordi Visser showed his personal agent flagging a small card-testing charge, and said he uses it for his bank fraud alerts.

Our verdict

Promising, but it requires giving an agent access to your accounts. Start with read-only access and your bank's own alerts.

Tools

Personal agents with account connections (for example Meta's Muse)

Prompt to copy

Each day, review my new card transactions and flag anything that looks like card testing (tiny charges from unfamiliar merchants), duplicate charges, or charges in a city I'm not in. Do not take any action; just tell me what you found and why.
Before you try it: Granting an agent access to bank accounts is a real security decision. Prefer read-only access, turn on your bank's own alerts too, and never share passwords in chat.
