Found moneyDocumented case

Have a personal agent search unclaimed-property records for you

Ask a personal AI agent to check state unclaimed-property databases under your name and help with the claim paperwork.

What happened

In late September 2026, early users of Meta's Muse agent reported that it found unclaimed money in their names. TechCrunch's Sean O'Kane said Muse found him money and a check was on its way, though he did not give an amount. ColombiaOne reported that Nick Grous of ARK Invest said Muse listed more than $1,500 in unclaimed funds within about five minutes and helped with most of the paperwork; he filed the official claim himself and had not been paid at the time of the report. These are individual accounts, not measured results.

Our verdict

A good first task for a new agent: low risk, and the search happens on public state sites. Finding money is not the same as getting paid, because the state still has to approve the claim.

Search the official state unclaimed-property sites (linked from unclaimed.org) for money held in my name. I have lived in [states] and have used these names [name variations]. List every possible match with the state, the holder, and the amount if shown. Then tell me what documents each state needs for a claim. Do not submit anything or create any accounts without asking me first.
Before you try it: Use only official state sites, and file the claim yourself through them. Searching is free, so never pay a fee to find your own money. Before linking an agent to email or bank accounts, decide what access it really needs; this task needs none.
